National Schools Campaign
There are many ways in which your school can get involved with Bravehearts' White Balloon Campaign and help break the silence and protect children. Some ideas include:
- Dedicate a ‘Wear White Day' for a gold coin donation with your students during Child Protection Week or on the official White Balloon Day (TuesdaySept 7) to raise funds and awareness for Bravehearts Inc - White Balloon Day.
-
Purchase a Bravehearts White Balloon Campaign pack (only $10) which includes 50 White Balloon Day balloons.
-
Host a morning tea with your staff to raise money for Bravehearts' White Balloon Campaign. Place white balloons around the perimeter of your school or day-care centre to show the community that you are a place that considers the protection of your studentsto be a priority.
- Become a member as a school or day-care facility and make a donation to Bravehearts and help us continue to fight for our children. (Show the community that you are a school that promotes the safety of children).
These are just some ideas, so please feel free to use your imagination and create unique ways to get involved with White Balloon Day. Your support will ensure the issue is not ignored or forgotten.
To register your school, please email events@bravehearts.org.au and we will post your event details on our website.
