Bendigo Bank displayed our posters and collected donations at their 400 plus branches throughout Australia. Bendigo also donated $5000 towards out Brisbane WBD luncheon. Bendigo continues to accept donations for Bravehearts at all its branches.

Terry White Chemists advertised WBD to its database of 1.5 million customers, displayed our posters and sold WBD tote bags in 150 stores nationally. We received a donation of $46,500 from the sale of the bags.

Bravehearts used its existing social media relationships with YouTube, Myspace and Google to promote WBD. Myspace featured a prominent free advertorial on White Balloon Day on its home page and Google contributed $30,000 to the campaign.

Nutrimetics Australia invited staff to display and sell WBD merchandise at Nutrimetics Gold Coast conference. Nutrimetics consultants also sold WBD tote bags nationally during Child Protection Week.

NRL Referees and insurance giant AAMI joined forces to create the opportunity for Bravehearts to showcase our brand on the front of NRL Refs jerseys for Round 26 of the Telstra Premiership played during Child Protection Week.

NAPCAN NT (funded by NT Gov) organised a White Balloon Day launch through primary schools in Alice Springs as well as at their official Child protection Week Breakfast in Darwin. Hundreds of school children and officials released white balloons in Darwin's Liberty Square

Mackay: child Friendly Community Action Groups White Balloon Day event on Tuesday 8 September at the Shakespeare Child and Family Centre. State Member for Mackay Tm Mulherin said, “Community members were invited to attend. Children will be given a white balloon and will tie it to the fence in a show of support for a safe environment for all children in Australia.

PCYC displayed white balloons at 50 outlets throughout Queensland. The PCYC/Qld Police stand at the Brisbane 'Ekka' distributed WBD merchandise during the 10-day show. The stand was visited by 51,297 adults and children.

In Wangaratta, White Balloon Day celebrations were delayed for a month after a judge issued a surprise injunction on the campaign reasoning that it might prejudice a case before the courts. The day was instead held on October 9 with Derryn Hinch broadcasting his 3AW radio show from the northern Victorian town. Wangaratta CBD was awash with white on the day, with more than 4,500 balloons displayed outside business around the town.
